Laser engraving is a noncontact process that can create easily visible markings on a variety of materials by making use of a laser beam. It can reproduce highly intricate designs due to the fact that the beam is focused to a spot size of as small as a few microns depending on the focal point settings.

Laser engraving uses a high-energy laser to remove layers of material and produce a permanent mark on the surface of a workpiece. Generally, deep laser engravings last for the life span of the workpiece, whereas shallow engravings last comparatively less long and are prone to scratches, especially in abrasive conditions.  Items like the Powder Coated drinkware only have the painted surface removed to make the design and will last as long as the painted surface on the cup will.

We use Zakeke product customizer for most of the products in the shop.  When on the products page click on "CUSTOMIZE" and it will take you to a separate page where you can design your product.  Zakeke is only to allow you to customize your design on a similar shaped product for our reference. Once the design is complete using the many tools and art available click on "BUY" to receive your Customization Token which you can copy and paste into a field on the product page, where you can continue to select the color/material variation we have to offer.

Additionally, please check your SPAM folder as we have have been notified by customers that this is where they had found the email. When ordering laser-engraved products, it is important to note that the results may vary. Photos submitted in the Product Customizer are for design placement and do not represent the end result. Different materials produce different results, and different quality photos can also affect the outcome. Despite this, we at Bourbon Mountain Productions ensure that top quality is produced and advise providing high-resolution photos for the best results.
